"I have been enthusiastic about nature and all its gifts since forever. During my architecture studies I explored how people can, during our sojourn on the Earth, interfere into nature as little as possible. Then I met a Natural Building. It enabled me to get a wide and detailed insight in the world that surrounds us and provides us so many living building materials. In a Prekmurje region, these are straw, wood, clay, sand and lime – all available in the wonderful nature around us.

Thus, with the help of many dilligent and loving hands, the cottage named Gorička Lepotička – Eco house (Little Beauty of Goričko) has been arisen. The house breathes in coexistence with Nature and Human and awards us with well-being of our spirits and bodies over and over again.

The poetry of Prekmurje echoes in the cottage in the middle of the Goričko countryside. The Gorička Lepotička - Eco house was born by loving hands that reached deep into the soil - into the ancient times of creation, to revive an ancient shed imbued with countless stories. Wood, straw bales and clay breathed life to it. With the breath of human's love and transparent drops of sweat, the cottage undulated into the blue of the sky and thus came to life in the coexistence of nature and human.

The cottage is made exclusively of natural materials according to the principles of organic architecture and offers a unique feeling of living. A look inside this beautiful work of art, built on the example of former surrounding buildings and on the foundations of an ancient shed, reveals walls of mud that undulate as the waves of the sea. Carpets and bedding are made of natural fabrics, as are beds and pillows. Plates and lanterns are handmade of clay, often decorated with patterns. The house is heated with wood, which is obtained by clearing one's own land and buying firewood from local farmers.

The interior itself presents us with a sensuous experience of humane architecture: »like a human's third skin« (F. Hundertwasser).
